Mint Madness

For Easter, my mom sent me the sweetest care package full of snacks and surprises.  One of the items she included was this gorgeous Mint Crossbody bag from Target.  The color is more vibrant in real life, and I wish it came across as minty in the picture above! I saw it when I was home for spring break and hinted (not so subtly) that I was obsessed with it.  I have always loved the color (as you can probably tell from the current blog background!) and I knew the bag would be perfect for spring and summer.  I often find I can't actually wear clothing this color, with my fair skin the cool color tends to wash me out, so I gravitate towards more vibrant hues.  Because of this, I am always looking for fun accessories in order to get a splash of mint in my life.  I can't wait to pair this bag with any and everything.  It has 2 compartments and is larger than most of my cross-body bags which will be good when I am on the go this summer.  

The Turquoise Cutout Necklace pictured is from J. Crew Factory and I am in love with it.  I've worn it almost everyday since I got it.  I wear so much black, especially on nights out, and this turquoise adds the perfect pop of color to any outfit.  It looks great with a little black dress - the geometric shapes look so cool.  It goes well with anything and I can't wait to pair it with hot pink or white this summer!

Lust List

Shopping is a weakness of mine, I love to browse and check out all of the new products (who doesn’t?) To keep myself from going into debt, I will write down things I am obsessed with and save them for birthday or Christmas presents (that way when family members ask I can give them an idea of things I would love!) Here are some things I’ve been lusting over lately.

Embroidered Intarsia Camel Sweater – This new J Crew Factory arrival is adorable, I am obsessed with animal sweaters to begin with, add tassels and I am sold! Such a cute sweater - I am dying to get my hands on it soon!

Jack Rodgers Marianne Bootie - These new Jack Rodgers boots are incredible.  I love my Jack Rodgers sandals and when I saw these I immediately fell in love! I don’t know if they are as hard to break in as the sandals are but they sure are cute! These are definitely on my wish list for fall!

GiGi New York Uber Clutch – I am in love with this embossed python clutch! This stone color is incredible and so versatile, plus you can get your monogram embossed on it, and we all know I love a good monogram!

Camp Socks

They’re back, they’re back!! J. Crew Camp Socks are back in stock and I am SO excited to get my hands on them.  This year they seem to have a looser fit around the top, providing a slouchy look that I am in love with.  Heavy weight and durable they are perfect for boots this fall and winter.  I have been anxiously awaiting their arrival online and in stores and I cannot wait to wear them! Not only are they super cute, but they will be perfect for keeping my feet warm during the cold New York winter (another Polar Vortex coming? Say it isn’t so!)  This year they come in Black, Grey, Red, Blue, and Ivory.  At $16.50 they are a bit pricey for socks but these babies are irresistibly cute and oh so practical. Stock up while you can! They won’t be around for long, and you don’t want to get stuck in a back-order situation or, even worse, miss out completely!
